Let’s see…about me. I’m gladly married to Raegen…have 2 dogs (round hound named Brodie, fiery “shih-poo” named Truman) and a cat (Chewy…yep Star Wars…in case you’re wondering).
I’m a big fan of (deep breath)….Chicago White Sox, New Orleans Saints, Oklahoma Sooners, Boulevard Wheat, Cohiba Cigars, Pacific Rim Wine, Cajun food (especially crawfish etouffee), Peachtree Restaurant in KC, Catfish Restaurants in Louisiana (particularly Mike’s).
I love great moments. When you know you’ve been apart of something. Concerts, gatherings, a conversation over coffee, a great book, moving movie…yep. I really enjoy helping people discover/internalize who God really is (as I’m coming to understand it). Whether it’s through teaching at some gig, AC, a conversation at ”fill in the blank” bar, I love to help journey with sojourners. Willing to ask questions, dive deeper, and process in the belief that life can be found there. Places where the real message of Jesus resonates.
I’ve always wanted to go to Australia (for some reason), and Iceland (always been fascinated), and back to South Africa.
More than anything, I’ve come to believe this…what we believe about ourselves matters…what we think God believes about us matters…what we believe God believes about all people matters…and yes their incredibly connected.
I’m also a lifecoach and author of “Blessed Friction”.
